Abstrak

Lailatul Qodariyah. 171230072. 2021. The Use of E-Learning Programs on English Learning During Covid 19 Pandemic: Student's Perception (A Case Study at Faculty of Education and Teacher Training UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten Academic Year 2020/2021). Learning will provide experience through the knowledge and skills acquired in the learning process and learning English is the key to success because it is important in all aspects of life. E-Learning is a learning program that is used to develop an English learning especially in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. Coronavirus is a zoonotic disease (which can be transmitted between animals or people) (General Administration of Disease Control and Prevention). This research aims to analyze the use of E-Learning program on English learning during covid 19 pandemic. This research was to find out how the implementation of e-learning FTK program on learning English according to the student’s perception and what the problems on English learning using E-Learning FTK program according to the students. This research used qualitative method, the instrument used in this research was questionnaire and interview. Then, to analyze the data the researcher used a theory from Helaludin and Wijaya. The participants of this research were 10 students of fourth semester English Education Department UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. The questionnaire result of this research showed that positive statements get the most answers on "Disagree", it can be concluded that the implementation of E-Learning FTK is not effective for learning English and students do not like learning English using E-Learning FTK. In addition, the result of interview shows that the use of E-Learning FTK is not effective. Its use is limited to filling in attendance and only for collecting assignments. For material, sometimes it is just sent without explanation. To explain material usually through other media or applications. Most students do not like the use of E-Learning FTK because there are many factors: signal, internet quota, and server errors.
