Abstrak

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of Numbered Head Together in improving students' writing skills on descriptive texts in English class VII at MTs Al-Khairiyah Margagiri Kabupaten Serang. The number of students in the experimental class were 18 people and in the control class were 17 people. In this study, the method used is the Quasi-experimental method. In collecting data, the writer used an instrument in the form of observation, interview, and written test for the pre-test and post-test. After giving the post-test, the authors analyzed the data using SPSS version 25. The results of this study showed that differences of the posttest mean score of students in experimental class 76.44 which is greater than the posttest mean score of students in control class 69.76.
