Abstrak

This research investigates the use of @speakenglishwithzach TikTok account to enhance student’s speaking skill. This research is to find out whether teaching speaking by using @speakenglishwithzach TikTok account can improve students’ speaking skill. The researcher uses quasi-experimental as a methodology of this research. For taking a data, researcher conducted observations and tests (pre-test and post-test). This research involves 62 students as sample among eight grade of MTsN 2 Serang year 2023/2024 as population. The research finding shows that t-test (t0) was higher than t-table (tt) with significant degree of 5% (2.658 > 1,670). This means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It can also be seen that the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. Based on the result above, it can be conclude that the use of @speakenglishwithzach Tiklok account is better performance than those who do not use it.
