Abstrak

Leli Kholilah. 152301764. 2019. The Influence of Group Investigation Technique and Gender toward Students Achievement in Writing Descrptive Text (An Experimental Research at First Grade of SMKN 10 Pandeglang Academic Year 2018/2019). The purpose of this reasearch is as follows: (1). To examine the influence of group investigation technique toward students achievement in writing descriptive text. (2). To examine the influence of gender toward students achievement in writing descriptive text. (3). To examine the influence of group investigation technique and gender toward students achievement in writing descriptive text. This research based on three points statement problems, there are the students still confused to use vocabulary in their writing, the students have difficulties in learning writing, there are differences in male and female students abilities in the field of language. Method of this research is quantitave, instrument used in the form of Test and Questionnaries. Population in this research is students of first grade at SMKN 10 Pandeglang. The amount are 184 students taking sample 40 at the students population. Data analysis used in this research use Descriptive statistic and Inferential statistic. The result of research that has been done state that: (1). There is influence between Group Investigation Technique to the students achievement in writing descriptive text. The result is Group Investigation variable aqual to 2.68 with significance 1.68 where as value of . Obtained = 2.68 1.68. it means that of research is rejected, and is accepted. (2). There is no influence between Gender to students achievement in writing descriptive text. The result is gender variable of male students equal to 1.74 with significance 1.72where as value of . Obtained to male students = 1.74 1.72. it means of research is rejected, and is accepted. Differents with the result of female students equal to 1.06 with significance 1.72 where as value of . Obtained = 1.06 1.72. (3). There is influence between Group Investigation Technique and Gender toward students achievement in writing descriptive text. The results of the percentage of each statement, it can be found the percentage alternative ideal score is 77,7%. The result of percentage are matched with a standard percentage that is the range of 61%-80% and classified as “strong or effective”.
