Abstrak

This research investigated the teachers’ perspective of parental involvement on students’ English achievement at SDIT BUNAYYA. It is aimed to investigate parental involvement of fifth grade students at SDIT BUNAYYA, to find out teachers’ perspective of parental involvement on students’ English achievement and to investigate teachers’ view about school support in parental involvement. This study used a descriptive qualitative study. In the process of data collection, the researcher distributed a closed-ended questionnaire, interview, and document from the research subjects. This research involves 21 parents and 2 English teachers. Based on the result of the study, there were six types of parental involvement applied in SDIT BUNAYYA, teachers give positive perspective toward parental involvement in students English Achievement, SDIT BUNAYYA school greatly facilitates parental involvement but there is no special program for the development of students' English achievement.
