Abstrak

The aim of this research is to find out significant effect of using Cornell Nota Taking toward students’ reading comprehension in the narrative text at Second Grade of SMAN 6 Kota Serang. This research used a quantitative method. The participants of this research were 75 students that spared into two classes, one classes as experiment class 38 students and another one spared is as the control class 37 students. The researcher used quasi experiment design with use the instrument there were three stages are pre-test, treatment and post-test. The result of this research show that the students in reading comprehension who used Cornell Note Taking achieved better than those who does not use Cornell Note Taking. The result of the data analysis shows that hypothesis compared with t-table
