Abstrak
To achieve good learning, necessarily need the holding of training for Teachers. This training will train Teachers to implement the best teaching systems for learners. The background of the study in this research is based on English Teaching in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang which Teachers have been follow some the training to be present by Usaid, Balai Diklat, etc. One of the training topics is CTL Teaching Model, Thus the writer tried to observe teaching process of CTL at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang to know the Implementation of training. This research describes the Teachers preparation, teaching process, and assessing process in CTL teaching model for Islamic school. The writer focused on the title of this research: “The Implementation of CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) in English Teaching for Islamic School. ” the research is conducted based on the problem of: 1) How does Teachers implementation of CTL in English learning process at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang? 2) How does Teachers development of CTL in learning English accomplishment at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang? 3) How are Teachers opinion of CTL at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang? Based on the research questions are: 1) To investigate Teachers implementation of CTL used in English learning process at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang.2) To determine Teachers development of CTL in teaching English accomplishment at MTs Negeri Kota Serang. 3) To determine Teachers opinion of CTL in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang. In this research, the writer uses case study. Case study is one of type qualitative method. The subject of this research is English Teachers In MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang. The number of the Teachers was 3 Teachers. This research conducted for one month. The technique of data collecting by observation and interview. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of CTL in English Teaching for Islamic School. The teaching model was effective for students and students can provide a simulation of lesson learned in Teaching Learning process, especially to English Teaching in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang.
