Abstrak
This research aims to find out whether Wattpad media can improve students' reading comprehension. In conducting this research, the researcher used a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. this exploration employed one class. Apre-test and post-test were obtained as instruments and analyzed by using a paired t-test. The average student pre-test score was 32,4333 and the average student post-test score was 61,9667. This means that by using Wattpad strategies in teaching reading skills, students'' reading comprehension will increase. After examining the data of students'' reading skills, it was determined that count (t) with a value of (13,379) was higher than the table (tt) with a value of (26,758) with a degree of freedom (df) 29—a level significance of 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. The alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. Meanwhile, in the post-test, students can find the substance of the intended reading by using the Wattpad application to teach reading, especially to improve students'' reading comprehension abilities.
