Abstrak

Lia Meilani, 2016, "The Analysis of Students Writing Error on Spoof Text" (A Case Study at second grade of Islamic Modern Boarding School of MA Daar et-Taqwa Petir, Serang, Banten)." (Undergraduate Research Paper, Department of English Education, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, the State Institute for Islamic Studies, "Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten). Adviser : H. Abdul Muin, S.Ag., M.M and Yayu Heryatun M.Pd. The method of the research is descriptive qualitative as a case study. The participant of this research is the students of Senior High School of MA Daar et Taqwa Islamic, Modern Boarding School, Petir, Serang Banten. The participant of the observation and test of research is 1 class. To get in-depth data, the writer conducts an interview especially to English teacher and 4 students among 21 students of 1 class. This research is conducted in teaching conclution in every statement problem: 1). What erTors of generic structure do students make in their writing spoof text?, 2). What errors of grammatical writing do students make in their writing spoof text? iii After the writer did the research in, she got the result of generic structure error made by students of the second grade students. There are three types of generic structur in writing spoof text such as orientation, event and twist. The error was done in Orientation 0% or no one from students made error. The second error in Event by 10 students or 48 % students made error. And the third error in Twist by 17 students or 81% students made error. Next, she got result of grammar errors made by the second grade students of MA Daar et-Taqwa IMBS in writing spoof text. There writer conducted the grammatical writing into the five categories such as Sentence Pattern, Tense. Pronoun, Preposition, and Spelling and Punctuation. The error was done in Sentence Pattern by 9 students or 43% students made error. The second is errors in Tense by 20 students or 95% students made error. The third is errors in Pronoun by 10 students or 48% students made error. The forth is errors in Preposition by 10 students or 48% students made error and the last is erros in Spelling and Punctuation 19 students or 90% students made error
