Abstrak

This research investigates of Spelling Bee Game use for teaching narrative text to improve students’ pronunciation. The writer took this research at SMPN 1 Cipuecang and collected the data from 66 students that spared into two classes. Population of this research was the eighth grade students’ of SMPN 1 Cipeucang academic year 2022/2023. The sample of the research used class VIII A as an experimental class and VIII B as a control class. The method that is used in thisresearch was Quantitative method and used quasi-experimental research design with use the instruments were three stages are pre-test, treatment and pos-test. The result of the research is the mean score of experimental class was 38,93. After using Spelling Bee game, the mean score increased to 75. The data analysis is using t-test the value of
