Abstrak
Indonesia has a wealth of thousands of valuable handwritten classical manuscripts (Manuscripts). The classic manuscript is evidence of the high level of the nation's civilization because it contains a wealth of thought, culture, history, and a myriad of other riches that can become a mirror of the past for us to use in our lives in the future. Indirectly, the manuscript constitutes the national identity that we must explore and at the same time protect this nation so that it can still exist and have a competitive edge in the midst of an increasingly globalized struggle between nations. The manuscript entitled Kitab Hayat al-Qulub "is very interesting to study because this text contains provisions so that we do not feel afraid of death, but we must be optimistic that death is actually rebirth to immortality.
