Abstrak
Since the emergence of the 2013 curriculum, active learning-based learning has been widely used by every educational institution. We need to know that active learning activities are learning process activities that focus on students or are called student centered. Learning strategies based on active learning are very diverse, including the Inquiry Learning strategy which will be discussed in this study. In learning the inquiry learning method, students are directed to be able to solve a problem and also be able to think critically and logically, so that in applying this method to Arabic lessons, especially reading skills (maharah al-qiro'ah) students are able to read correctly and are also able to understand the content of the reading. And in learning Arabic there are four maharah (skills), including maharah al-qiro'ah, maharah al-kalam, maharah al-kitabah, maharah al-istima'. In this study the author discusses maharah al-qiro'ah, which focuses on reading skills and also understanding texts. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe an explanation of the implementation of inquiry learning strategies in reading skills. So to find out the answer, the author uses references and also relevant research results through library research. The author hopes that the results of this study will provide benefits for readers, especially Arabic teachers. Keyw
