Abstrak

This research investigates the effectiveness of the Station Rotation Model in enhancing students' speaking skills at MTs Al Jauharotunnaqiyyah. The study aims to assess the speaking skills of students at MTs Al Jauharotunnaqiyyah and determine the effectiveness of the Station Rotation Model in improving these skills. Employing a quantitative methodology, this quasi-experimental study involved 60 students, with 30 students from class IX D as the treatment group and 30 students from class IX A as the control group. The treatment group received instruction through the Station Rotation Model, while the control group continued with traditional teaching methods. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered to both groups to measure improvements in speaking skills. The findings suggest that the Station Rotation Model is an effective instructional strategy for enhancing students' speaking skills. The experimental class's average scores increased from 35.3 to 44.2, with a gain of 8.9 points, while the control class showed a modest increase from 48.2 to 52.3, with a gain of 83.4 points This research contributes to the growing body of evidence supporting innovative teaching methods in language education and provides practical insights for educators seeking to improve student outcomes in speaking proficiency.
