Abstrak

This research investigates the use of Padlet Application in writing narrative text. This research was to find out whether teaching writing by using Padlet Application can enhance students writing ability, especially in writing narrative text. This research used quantitative method with quasi-experimental design. The instrument used in this research was tests (pre-test and post-test). This research involves 60 students as sample among ten grade of MAN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang year 2023/2024 as population. The research finding shows that t-test was higher than t-table with significant degree of 0.05 (2.138 > 1,672). This means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It can also be seen that the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that Padlet Application can be used in teaching writing narrative text. The result of this research shows that the students writing narrative text using Padlet Application achieve better performance than conventional method.
