Abstrak
This research investigates the effectiveness of Think-Talk-Write Strategy in Teaching Writing on Narrative Text an Experimental Research at the Eleventh Grade of SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang). This research oriented the following aims: to know the students’ skill in writing narrative text at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang; to know how to apply Think-Talk-Write in teaching writing on narrative text at SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang; and see the effectiveness of Think-Talk-Write in teaching writing on narrative text at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 4 pandeglang. The writer used quasi experiement, the population of the research is the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang and took 67 students as the sample which divided into classes, 36 students as the experimental class namely XI IPS 1 and 31 students as a control class namely XI IPS 4. To collect the data, the writer used observation and test, the result of the research show that to (t observation) is higher than tt (t table): 1.99<3.92>2.65, the degree of freedom (df) is 65. The writer used the degree of significance 5% is 1.99 and 1% is 2.65. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha)is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It means that there is “the eefectiveness of think-talk-write strategy in teaching writing on narrative text at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang.
