Abstrak

Holistic Integrative Interpretation of Qur’an ( al-tafsîr al-jamâ’î al-syumûlî) has strong roots in the realm of geneology in Contextual Qur'anic Interpretation. The modern era gave birth to thematic interpretation methods, then the postmodern era to the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 gave birth to integrative thematic interpretations. Furthermore, this integrative thematic interpretation can be an alternative for doing a holistic interpretation through the following stages to produce of contemporary Qur'anic interpretation: 1. Thematic Interpretation of the Meaning of the Core of the Qur'an, 2. Thematic Interpretation based on Modern Scientific Integration, 3. Thematic Interpretation based on the Qur'anic Conception, 4. Thematic Interpretation based on Qur'anic Vocabulary, 5. Thematic Interpretation based on Reality Problems. So the main character that can be used as a choice for the majors of the Qur'an and Interpretation in the future in dealing with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era is to develop a holistic interpretation of the Qur'an based on solutions from the problems of Indonesian reality.
